Implementation of a new optical setup at IRIS THz/infrared beamline of synchrotron BESSY (Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin) in the BMBF research project ‘Connecting Scales in Vibrational Imaging: Synchrotron Microscopy Station for Spatial-, Temporal and Polarization-Resolved Spectroscopy (SyMS)’.
A completed degree in physics with a doctoral degree with specialization in optics, photonics or closely related areas; a strong theoretical background in optics and photonics; experience in building of optical setup is required; experience in near field microscopy/spectroscopy, Raman scattering and/or synchrotron based infrared measurements; experience with a scattering-type SNOM (s-SNOM) is desired.
